Canned Goods For Lift Tickets!

November 24th 2019
@ 4:04 pm

For the past five years, Health and Human Services, specifically the ADRC has conducted a successful food drive for the ADRC Home Delivered Meal Program.  Due to all the generous donations received, approximately 130 homebound elderly and disabled Columbia County residents were provided with a “back-up” meal last year.  Last year we had 8 snow days that prevented delivery of our home delivered meals. Due to our successful 2018 food drive ADRC was able to provide 3.5 back-up meals to residents. These back up meals are for residents who are homebound and have no way to get to the grocery store to get food to have on hand in the event Home Delivered Meals can’t be delivered due to weather conditions. To put it into perspective, if schools are closed, the Home Delivered Meal and Nutrition Sites are also closed.

This year, all of us at Cascade want to help out with this great local cause!

Any guest who brings in a 10oz or larger canned good between Friday, November 29th and Friday, December 13th will be entered for a chance to win a free lift ticket! 1 can = 1 entry, 2 cans = 2 entries, and so on and so forth. We will be drawing 4 winners at the end of the time frame.

Along with that, any guest who brings in 12 or more 10oz or larger canned goods on December 14th or 15th will receive a FREE lift ticket for the day!

All donations must be dropped off at the indoor ticket window in the lower Peak Lodge.

Please help us help the community, and in return, enjoy some free skiing and snowboarding!
