Last season marked the 4th season of the Cascade Employee Scholar Fund. This program was designed to award high school aged employees with additional funds on top of their regular wages to assist with the costs of postsecondary education. Students who complete their senior year of employment with Cascade are eligible for a $1 donation for every hour worked through consecutive seasons during their high school career. That means if you start working here as a freshman and continue working here until your senior year, you would be eligible for a $1 donation for every hour worked for the last 4 years.

Last season, 5 employees who participated in the program completed their commitments to both Cascade and their education and will be receiving their funds shortly! Congrats and thank you to Abbigail, Jack, Kyle, Matthew, and Max! Your checks were mailed out today so you’ll be seeing them soon!

In its first 4 seasons, the Cascade Employee Scholar Fund has awarded a total of over $8,000 to 24 participants! As always, we would love to see this number grow! Thus far, this winter storm has brought mixed precipitation with <1” of accumulation. We’ve also been seeing lightning in the area. ***Due to that, we will have a delayed open on all lifts.*** This post will be updated once the lightning clears the area.

Bonus days are in effect for both current and next season’s pass holders, meaning all Cascade season passes for the 25/26 & 26/27 season are valid from open-close!

We’re entering the final week of the season ⛷️🏂

While we’re closed today through Wednesday, we’ve still got 4 more days on snow before we call it quits. It even looks like Mother Nature will be supplying a bit of natural on Sunday to close the season out ❄️❄️❄️

We’ve been enjoying some true spring skiing today for our Cascade Luau, but we’re also looking ahead at this upcoming week. The forecast is calling for ~70 and sunny on Monday, and while that sounds great, our snow could definitely use a little break. In an effort to preserve conditions as best as we can for our final weekend of the season, we will be closed Monday 3/9 - Wednesday 3/11. The current plan is to re-open with regular hours on Thursday 3/12. We’re working on issuing refunds to everyone who pre-purchased for Monday - Wednesday.

Bonus days are in effect for pass holders, meaning all Cascade season passes (25/26 season only) are valid from open-close any day that we’re open for the rest of the season!

We will likely be battling/somewhat waiting out Friday night/Saturday morning’s rain as we’re grooming heading into Saturday. Be aware that there’s a possibility of some staged/delayed openings on some areas of terrain. Please obey all closures and markings as we work to get these areas ready to ride.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on it, but Friday’s rain is looking inevitable. In an effort to preserve conditions, we will be closed on Friday 3/6. We’re currently working on issuing refunds to everyone who pre-purchased for Friday.

The current forecast looks like the rain is going to carry from late Friday night into early Saturday morning. At this time, the plan is to be back open on Saturday 3/7 with normal hours and all regularly scheduled Cascade Luau activities. Always keep an eye on our website and social media accounts prior to your visit for up-to-date news, closings, and general information.
