This morning’s dusting on top of the last few days of uninterrupted snowmaking made for some great conditions ❄️
We’re back open with regular hours and much more comfortable temps than the last few days ⛷️🏂
Get the extra layers out and take advantage of some excellent conditions today ⛷️🏂
Reminder: We will be closed tomorrow and Tuesday so get your turns in while you can! Regular hours will resume on Wednesday.

🥶Operations Update🥶
We’ve been keeping a close eye on next week’s forecast and unfortunately, Monday and Tuesday have yet to take a turn for the better. As of now, it looks like both Monday and Tuesday are going to stay well below 0 degrees for the majority of both days with wind chill making for a feels like temperature as low as -18. Conditions like this are not only dangerous and unpleasant for skiers and staff, but also pose a number of safety concerns for chairlift operations. Due to these frigid cold temperatures and dangerous wind chill, we will be closed Monday 1/20 & Tuesday 1/21. We’ll be reaching out to those who pre-purchased tickets to issue refunds.
We plan to re-open Wednesday 1/22 with regular hours and some great conditions ⛷️🏂

So far 2025 has brought us overnight snowmaking and light flurries ❄️ The snowmaking crew is back to charging toward getting our remaining unopened terrain ready for first tracks with the return of this cold weather 🥶
Hours for today and tomorrow are 9am-8pm then we jump back into our regular hours schedule on Friday.

NEW TERRAIN 🙌
We’ve got beautiful conditions and additional terrain to explore this morning! We added 9 runs to the open list today including B-Dub, Bridge Ridge, and Emerglades PLUS our newest runs West Deb’s and Over Yonder!
All 11 lifts are spinning and 43 runs are waiting for you! Come enjoy it ⛷️🏂
Snowmaking continues on closed terrain today. Snowmakers have been giving runs like B-Dub, JJ, Boarderland, and all others that have not opened yet this season around the clock attention since Wednesday morning. All of which are getting close to being ready for first tracks of the season so we’ll be taking advantage of today’s favorable conditions to pile it up ❄️
As we enter the holiday week, be sure to take a look at our holiday hours. Some important dates and hours to note include a 4:30 closing time on Christmas Eve, closed on Christmas, and open until midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Conditions will be great across 34 runs thanks to the recent 7” of natural snow getting mix in with our manmade. Snowmaking continues on closed terrain and we expect to have many of those runs popping open very soon 👀
Our new kids zone, Polar Park will be opening today 🐻❄️ Located above the rental building, this fenced in space is our dedicated area for children to sled and play in the snow ❄️
All food and beverage locations are open today including the Daisy Lodge for your specialty loaded tots and hot sandwiches, the waffle window, and the cookout!
Yesterday’s storm gave us 7” of some really nice light, dry snow ❄️ Conditions are going to be outstanding today 🙌
The groomers left some secret untouched stashes out there on runs like Badger Bowl, JL2, Radical Rob, and more 👀
Park Crew has been switching things up in Mountain Top Park throughout the week as well! New additions include a pill spine to tower tube combo, a corro spine to flat bar combo, and a barrel bonk. Check the story for some build pictures ⛷️🏂

We’re adding JL2, Radical Rob, Cottontail, and more to our list of open terrain, bringing our run count to 34! Park crew did some work in Mountain Top Park and Cottontail last night. Mountain Top Park is now stocked with 8 rails and 2 jumps. Cottontail is starting its season with a small progression setup of 2 rails and 2 jumps.

If you were here today, you got to see some groomers knocking down whales on runs like JL2 and Cottontail plus getting Tube Town ready for its opening day. Check back tomorrow to see all of the additional terrain we’ll be adding for the weekend 👀
Along with some additional terrain and Tube Town, the Daisy Lodge will be opening tomorrow for its first time this season! Head to the Daisy for loaded tots and other specials you won’t find anywhere else on hill!
Our snowmaking crew said they’d make the most of this week’s cold weather and that’s exactly what they did ❄️
Daily operations begin tomorrow! With the addition of Screamin’ Steven, we will be re-opening with 28 runs! Our snowmakers & groomers will be continuing their efforts to get more terrain ready for tracks by Saturday. We expect to have even more additional terrain by then including JL2, Radical Rob, Cottontail (with small park features), and more! Our *expected* run count for Saturday is 34 runs with 2 terrain parks!
Tube Town will also be starting its season on Saturday! Tubing tickets for Tube Town’s opening weekend will be available on our website tomorrow.

WE’RE OPENING! ⛷️🏂
We’ll be open for skiing & snowboarding this Saturday from 9am-10pm & Sunday from 9am-8pm! After the weekend, we’ll be closed Monday 12/9 through Thursday 12/12. We’ll be back open on Friday 12/13 with regular hours for the remainder of the season!
We’ve gotten plenty of snowmaking done this past week and plan to open with a good chunk of our west side terrain like North Wall, Manitou, Ptarmigan, Badger Bowl, and Adele’s Alley plus a park setup in Mountain Top Park! Our snowmaking efforts will continue throughout the week so check back later for a more detailed terrain update.
Tickets for opening weekend are available for purchase on our website. Don’t forget, pre-purchasing your ticket online is required Friday-Sunday & peak days all season long. Since we limit the amount of tickets sold per day, pre-purchasing is recommended every day to ensure availability. Reservations are not required for season passholders.
Bonus Days will be in effect for season pass holders 12/7 - 12/8 & 12/13. This means that all Cascade season passes are valid from open-close all 3 days regardless of your normal pass restrictions!
