Tubing FAQ

For updates on COVID-19 related policies from Cascade Mountain click here

Who can snow tube?
Anyone who is able to ride the lift and the tube by themselves. We do not have any restrictions on age, height, etc. It is up to the parent/guardian to determine if the child can safely snow tube alone. We do allow an adult to "link" to the child's tube, but the child should be able to link correctly.

Is tubing hard to do?
No experience is needed, just hop in your tube and enjoy the ride.

What if there isn’t any snow?
Not to worry! Our state-of-the-art snowmaking system keeps the snow tubing area packed with plenty of snow all winter long.

Can more than one person ride in a tube?
We allow one person per tube. We do allow children to "link" to an adult/guardian tube. Two tubes linked together maximum. Linking may not be allowed based on conditions. Linking is not allowed on fast days.

Do I need to sign anything?
We do require that everyone sign a Tubing Waiver form. A parent/guardian signature is required for anyone under 18. A copy of the Tubing Waiver form is available for download here.

Do you allow animals at Tube Town?

Cascade welcomes service animals as defined by the ADA, and recognize the important role they play in many of our customers' lives; however, we do not allow pets.

Can I bring my own sled?
The tube rental is included in the cost of the tubing tickets. For safety reasons personal sleds are not allowed on the tubing hill, ski runs or the base area. Please keep them in your vehicle.

How do I get back up the hill?
You can effortlessly ride back up the hill on our state-of-the-art magic carpet.

Can I purchase a tubing pass for the season?
We do offer for sale a Tubing Season Pass. Click here for season pass information.

Do I need to wear special clothing?
Dress accordingly for the weather and as if you were going sledding or any type of outdoor winter activity. We suggest dressing in layers and waterproof clothing is recommended.
